    Required Documents for Creating a Business Account

    To create a business account for a registered company, the required additional documents depend on the business category:


    Private or Public Limited Company (LTD/PLC)

    • Certificate of Incorporation
    • CAC Status Report or CAC 2 & CAC 7 or CAC 1.1
    • Board Resolution
    • Utility Bill or Bank Statement (within the last 3 months) or Rental Agreement (valid within 12 months)
    • BVN of all Directors (1 of each at onboarding)
    • Memorandum and Articles of Association (Memart)

    Incorporated Trustees

    • Certificate of Incorporation
    • CAC Status Report or Form CAC/IT 1
    • Board of Trustees Resolution
    • Utility Bill or Bank Statement (within the last 3 months) or Rental Agreement (valid within 12 months)
    • Constitution
    • BVN of all Trustees (1 of each at onboarding)
    • NIN or Valid ID of Trustees

    Business Name

    • Certificate of Incorporation
    • CAC Status Report or CAC BN1
    • Utility Bill or Bank Statement (within the last 3 months) or Rental Agreement (valid within 12 months)
    • BVN and Valid ID of Business Owners

    Registered Partnership

    • Certificate of Incorporation
    • CAC Status Report or Form CAC/LLP 01 or CAC/LP 01
    • Partnership Resolution
    • Utility Bill or Bank Statement (within the last 3 months) or Rental Agreement (valid within 12 months)
    • BVN of all Partners (1 of each at onboarding)
    • NIN or Valid ID of Partners
